Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Business Development Manager role based in Fairfield, NJ. The Sales Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a pipeline of prospects, and drive end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to closing. This role will collaborate closely with delivery, marketing, and technical teams to develop customized proposals, respond to RFPs, and present solutions tailored to client needs in AI, digital, and cloud services. The position will involve conducting market and competitive research, attending client meetings and industry events, and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers. The Sales Business Development Manager will also be responsible for achieving revenue targets, forecasting sales performance, and providing regular reporting to leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management in IT, consulting, or technology services.
- Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and deal closing.
- Ability to translate complex technology offerings (AI, automation, cloud, digital platforms) into clear business value for clients.
- Experience preparing and delivering client presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfort working with sales CRM tools, sales analytics, and basic financial metrics (forecasting, pricing, margins).
- Self-motivated, target-driven mindset with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Experience selling AI, digital transformation, or cloud services is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Fairfield, NJ and travel to client locations or events as needed.
