This is a full-time, on-site role for a Viral Vector Operational Excellence Lead, located in Oceanside, CA. In this role, the candidate will drive operational excellence initiatives to enhance viral vector manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include identifying and implementing process improvements, analyzing data to optimize workflows, leading cross-functional teams in streamlining operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role will require collaboration with diverse teams to achieve high-quality outcomes and enable scalable, efficient production of life-changing therapies.

• Strong expertise in process optimization, operational excellence, and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in data analysis, workflow optimization, and problem-solving related to viral vector manufacturing
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated environment
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance systems in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Advanced education in a relevant scientific or engineering field (e.g., biotechnology, biochemistry, chemical engineering) is preferred
• Previous experience in cell or gene therapy manufacturing is a significant advantage
