Job Summary
Work for a world class kitchen operation serving baseball teams! This position will be responsible for the presentation, cleanliness, and client experience of the performance food service operation for the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team in Port Charlotte, FL.
Starting at $22 / hour, based on experience
Full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions available (guaranteed 40 hours / week) with the possibility of extended employment.
Shift times will be between 5 : 00am - 5 : 00pm, start / end times may vary based on game schedules
Key Responsibilities :
Provide "Best in Class" hospitality for our high-profile client, including excellent manners and interpersonal skills
Manage an exceptional visual presentation and cleanliness in food service area
Sweep, mop, scrub as needed, as well as clean floors, shelves, surfaces, equipment, etc.
Check and refill all supplies that clients use daily
Assist kitchen and BOH as needed, this may include prep work and dishwashing
Communicate all needs through the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
Ensure dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
Cover and date food when storing to ensure freshness and safety
Ensure hot food temperatures are within safe range and records temps
Qualifications :
2 to 3 years customer service experience preferred
Excellent hospitality skills, professional demeanor, and a service-first attitude
Extreme attention to detail
Ability to anticipate client needs and fulfill them
Knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe sanitary practices, and culinary skills
Ideal Candidates :
Looking for morning to afternoon shifts
Understand nutrition and performance based food
Banquet or catering serving experience preferred
Work Schedule :
Open availability - early mornings and early evenings (no late night shifts!)- Shift times will be between 5 : 00am - 5 : 00pm, start / end times may vary based on game schedulesWill work 3-4 days a week
Must have weekend availability
Schedule subject to change based on operational needs
Work Requirements :
Ability to perform the physical demands : Must be able to work standing up for 10-12 hours, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push a cart up to 200 pounds, withstand high temperature conditions, bend, kneel, and stoop
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Food Handlers certification
