We’re hiring a Cafe Attendant to join our culinary team supporting the Tampa Bay Rays in Port Charlotte, FL.
Seasonal full-time & part-time roles available | $20–$22/hr based on experience
About the Role You'll keep the performance dining area running smoothly — clean, stocked, and delivering top-tier hospitality for professional athletes.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide "Best in Class" hospitality for our high-profile client, including excellent manners and interpersonal skills
- Manage an exceptional visual presentation and cleanliness in food service area
- Sweep, mop, scrub as needed, as well as clean floors, shelves, surfaces, equipment, etc.
- Check and refill all supplies that clients use daily
- Assist kitchen and BOH as needed, this may include prep work and dishwashing
- Communicate all needs through the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
- Ensure dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Cover and date food when storing to ensure freshness and safety
- Ensure hot food temperatures are within safe range and records temps
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 to 3 years customer service experience
- Back of the house (BOH) kitchen experience preferred
- Understanding of nutrition and performance based food preferred
- Banquet or catering serving experience preferred
- Excellent hospitality skills, professional demeanor, and a service-first attitude
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate client needs and fulfill them
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe sanitary practices, and culinary skills
