What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Supply Chain Manager position at KitchenSA Foodservice Logistics?
About the Role:
Beaumont sits at the crossroads of Southern California’s logistics and distribution network, and at KitchenSA Foodservice Logistics, we bring precision, speed, and structure to every part of the supply chain.
We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager who can take full ownership of our end-to-end supply chain operations. You are not just managing inventory and vendors—you are designing the flow of products that keep commercial kitchens running across the region.
You will lead supply chain strategy across procurement, warehousing, forecasting, and distribution. This is a high-impact leadership role where operational decisions directly shape efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
You are the person who connects planning with execution—turning complexity into a smooth, reliable system.
Why Work With Us?
Operational Impact: You are not a small part of a big machine—you are shaping how the machine works. Your decisions directly affect performance across the supply chain.
Leadership Role: You will lead cross-functional teams across logistics, warehousing, and procurement with real ownership of outcomes.
Growth Environment: This is a scaling operation where process improvement is not optional—it’s the core of the role. You will have space to redesign systems and build long-term structure.
Real-World Logistics: We operate in a fast-moving distribution environment where accuracy, timing, and efficiency matter every day.
Decision Access: You will work closely with operations leadership and have direct influence on strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy:
Own and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory planning, warehousing, and distribution.
Forecasting & Planning:
Develop demand forecasts and inventory strategies to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
Logistics Optimization:
Improve delivery performance, reduce lead times, and streamline warehouse-to-customer workflows.
Vendor & Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating pricing, service levels, and contract terms.
Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies in current supply chain processes and implement scalable operational improvements.
Performance Monitoring:
Track KPIs such as fulfillment accuracy, inventory turnover, transportation costs, and service levels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with warehouse, operations, and finance teams to align supply chain execution with business goals.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
6–10 years in supply chain, logistics, or operations management, with proven leadership experience.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in distribution, logistics, foodservice supply chain, or manufacturing environments preferred.
Leadership Ability:
Ability to manage teams, coordinate multiple operational functions, and drive accountability.
Technical Skills:
Experience with ERP systems, inventory management tools, and supply chain planning systems.
Analytical Thinking:
Strong ability to interpret data, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.
Mindset:
You are structured, execution-focused, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving operational environment.
