PAY RANGE: $18.00 /hour. Pay consists of a base hourly rate plus a % of tip share.
THE HIRING COMPANY: The Kitchen Grill & Games at Discovery Park is a unique indoor/outdoor entertainment complex that features America's fastest growing sport, pickleball, as well as a great food and beverage setting. Our venue features six indoor and four outdoor courts, along with a full lineup of indoor and outdoor games, ice skating, live music, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere! The Kitchen at Discovery is one of multiple amenities built and planned for local residents at Aria and the greater Columbia community.
FOOD & BEVERAGE ATTENDANT: We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team! In this versatile role, you will support front-of-house operations, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You’ll play a key role in hosting guests, bussing tables, running food orders, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Since ordering is done via QR codes, your focus will be on guest interaction, cleanliness, and quick, efficient service.
FOOD & BEVERAGE ATTENDANT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Wear multiple hats hosting, running food, bussing tables and assisting with barback duties.
- Provide the best possible experience by going above and beyond to fulfill guest needs.
- Guest Hosting: Greet guests, assist with seating, explain our service model, and provide guidance on our QR code ordering system.
- Food Running: Deliver food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests, ensuring each item meets quality standards.
- Table Maintenance: Buss tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area, resetting for the next guests as needed.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with guests, providing answers to any questions about the ordering process or menu items, and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.
- Area Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in all front-of-house areas, including tables, seating, and service stations, to ensure a tidy and organized space.
- Support Team Members: Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with additional tasks as needed to support smooth operation of the food and beverage service.
FOOD & BEVERAGE ATTENDANT QUALIFICATIONS:
- Outgoing, extroverted personality!
- Positive attitude!
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and containers weighing up to 25 pounds
