This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. The ideal candidate demonstrates problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Job Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications.Load raw materials and ensure proper machine calibration and tool selection.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.Monitor machine operations to identify any issues or deviations from specifications.Perform routine inspections, measurements, and quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.Adjust machine settings to improve accuracy, efficiency, and product quality.Maintain accurate production and inspection records.Perform basic machine maintenance and report complex issues to supervisors or maintenance teams.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.Qualifications and Experience Required:High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.13 years of experience operating CNC machines (or willingness to train for entry-level roles, depending on position).Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code (preferred but not required for entry-level).Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and measurement tools.Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.Physical requirements: Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, sit for up to 8 hours per day, and stand or walk for short periods of time as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
