What You’ll Do
- Ensure world-class service to all lodging guests.
- Be knowledgeable of and able to answer questions about The Inn’s guest rooms, Village layout, shops, and attractions. Also have a general knowledge of local directions and tourist attractions. Maintaining cleanliness and neatness of all guest quarters by cleaning rooms for guest arrivals.
- Launder, fold, and change all linens from guest quarters and launder linens for other departments when needed.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, restocking, and refreshing rooms.
- Take initiative and be willing to fill in other positions (i.e., front desk, on-call) if necessary.
- Understand and coordinate room status updates between housekeeping room attendants and the front desk team members by communicating all checkouts, arrivals, and special needs and requests.
- Build relationships with fellow employees and work as a team to ensure efficiency in cleaning rooms.
- Show Inn rooms, amenities, and enthusiastically describe lodging experience to potential lodging guests when needed.
- Deep clean and detail clean guest rooms as assigned by Captain.
- Must be willing to work 0-20 hours and at least two Saturdays a month.
- Must be willing to be on-call after hours on various weeknights per week and one weekend per month (including Sunday)
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned by Owner, Lodging & Special Events Coach, or Captain.

This position requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule. While Village business hours are generally Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Inn operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. On-call assignments may occur outside of normal business hours, including evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.
