Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our growing team at Kitchen Fresh Foods. You will be responsible for delivering fresh products on dedicated routes while ensuring timely and safe transportation. Your role is vital to maintaining our high standards of service and product quality.
Work Week
Sunday-Wednesday
- Sunday- 1 PM Start & Overnight Stay
- Monday-Return
- Tuesday- 1 PM Start & Overnight Stay
- Wednesday- Return
- 70.00 Per Diem Per Overnight Stay
- Guaranteed 40 Hrs. per week
- Not Eligible for Guarantee during holiday weeks
- Not Eligible for Guarantee in the event of call-in or no-show.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Deliver fresh food products to various locations while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Load and unload products as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Obtain a DOT federal medical certificate
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
