Position Overview:
Kitchen & Floor Decor is seeking an experienced Residential Designer to join our team. This is a client-facing role focused on designing kitchens, bathrooms, and interior spaces while guiding customers through material selections and project planning. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, design-driven, and experienced in managing projects from concept through sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create kitchen, bath, and interior designs using 20/20 Design (REQUIRED)
- Meet with clients to understand scope, budget, and design preferences
- Develop layouts, renderings, and material selections (cabinetry, countertops, flooring, etc.)
- Prepare proposals and assist in closing sales
- Coordinate with internal teams and project managers to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain accurate project documentation and updates in CRM systems
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential kitchen and bath design
- Proficiency in 20/20 Design is required (non-negotiable)
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry, layouts, and construction fundamentals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- In-office position – must be available to work on-site
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sales and closing residential projects
- Familiarity with flooring, countertops, and full interior scope projects
- Experience working with contractors, developers, or multifamily projects
