Duties
As a Hospitality Team Member at Kitchen 88, you’ll help bring our “Eat Simply” philosophy to life by:
- Preparing and serving chef-crafted dishes with precision, consistency, and pride
- Following Kitchen 88’s high standards for food safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Operating our POS system (Aloha) with accuracy and efficiency
- Assisting guests with menu selections, answering questions, and sharing what makes our food special
- Creating moments of hospitality that make guests feel genuinely welcomed
- Handling cashier responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail
- Keeping the dining room, drink stations, and service areas clean, polished, and inviting
- Supporting the kitchen team with basic prep, stocking, and cleaning during rushes
- Managing your time and station effectively—especially during peak hours
- Maintaining Kitchen 88’s culture of kindness, teamwork, and respectful communication
Experience
Experience is helpful but not required—what matters most is who you are. That said, any of the following are a bonus:
- Prior food service, quick service, or fast-casual experience
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha or Micros)
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience in culinary work, prep, serving, or cashiering
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm, positive, and efficient during busy periods
