Kitchen Design Cabinets is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse and Delivery Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse and project completion. Your responsibilities will include assembling cabinets, receiving, delivering, storing, and organizing inventory. Preparing orders for delivery, and maintaining an efficient and well-organized warehouse environment. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to complete beautiful projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and unrestricted driver’s license and car insurance.
- Reliable transportation as you may be driving to job sites.
- Previous experience in a cabinetry based environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of general cabinetry construction is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for communicating with Project Managers and Designers.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Familiarity with towing trailers, driving box trucks, and material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments of cabinets and related materials.
- Verify the quantity and quality of received goods, and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Assemble cabinets prior to job start date.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling for each project.
- Ensure that all items are correctly labeled and packaged according to company standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments, utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage. Must have ability to tow a dump trailer.
- Frequently lifing heaving items, possibly over 50 lbs, while loading and unloading.
- Driving a box truck or pulling a dump trailer on a regular basis.
Warehouse Organization:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Ensure that storage areas are free from obstructions.
- Follow proper material handling procedures, including the use of appropriate equipment and tools.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining efficient warehouse layout and storage practices.
Quality Control:
- Conduct visual inspections of products during the receiving process. Notify the Project manager if any items are missing at time of delivery.
- Identify and report any product defects, damages, or quality issues to the Project Manager.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Designers to prevent quality-related issues.
- Work collaboratively with the Project Managers and cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring a smooth flow of information and tasks.
- Assist and support coworkers as needed, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.
