Position Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for implementing an effective sales approach that expands the Company’s reach and strengthens client relationships. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.
In this role, you will be a hands-on individual contributor in Sales & Marketing, reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop, execute, and oversee a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
· Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met.
· Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
· Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
· Promote the company’s products, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
· Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products.
· Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
· Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
· Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.
· Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.
· Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Required Education and Experience
· 5 years’ experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, sales, marketing, or a related field.
· Experience in customer support is a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
· Ability to build rapport.
· Strong time management, organization, and planning skills.
· Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques.
· Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills.
