Kitchen & Bath Design in Mentor, OH is growing and is immediately seeking an experienced, detail orientated Remodeler/Carpenter to join our team.This role will be responsible for remodeling high-end residential remodeling projects. We are looking for an experienced candidate with strong ethics, independent problem solving skills and effective communication with our team and clients.

Kitchen & Bath Design is a family-owned custom remodeling company that is committed to top-notch customer service. We take great pride in the quality of our workmanship. Many of our clients are referrals and repeat customers. We are a Consult-Design-Construct company with a focus on Amish built custom cabinets. We supply cabinets and remodel residential interiors and for kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, basement, and more! Most of our work in is Lake and Cuyahoga counties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle multiple projects/tasks independently.
Read and interpret blueprints, floorplans, elevations, 3D renderings.
Receive plans and direction from Project Manager and accomplish tasks with little supervision.
Effectively coordinate/communicate with customer and Project Manager on a daily basis.
Install custom cabinetry, flooring, drywall, minor plumbing & minor electrical.
Frame walls and soffits, finish carpentry, millwork installation, and other construction tasks.
Conduct repair work of cabinetry, drywall, doors, windows, stairs and other fixtures as required.
Assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
Lead and train Carpenter Apprentice’s.
Be respectful of customers and their property.
Clean up area and equipment.
Miscellaneous other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma.
Must have 5-10 years of experience in residential remodeling and construction.
Must have own basic set of hand tools.
Excellent carpentry skills, construction/hand tool experience.
Ability to work independently, or on a team, as needed.
Professional appearance and disposition.
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
Compensation to be determined by experience.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
