Responsibilities
- Finish and refine solid surface materials using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools to achieve smooth, seamless surfaces.
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures, calipers, and other measurement tools to ensure quality control and adherence to blueprint specifications.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Fabricate components by cutting, sanding, polishing, and assembling composite materials according to project requirements.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, ensuring all parts are correctly fitted and finished according to design standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures for precise fabrication work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math for accurate measurements and assembly.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to manufacturing environments involving power tools and pneumatic equipment.
