Solid Surface Finisher

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solid Surface Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this entry level role, you will be trained and responsible for finishing and refining solid surface materials used in countertops, vanity tops, and other custom surfaces. Your expertise will ensure that each piece meets our high standards for quality, appearance, and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced fabrication techniques and composite materials in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Responsibilities

• Finish and refine solid surface materials using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools to achieve smooth, seamless surfaces.
• Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures, calipers, and other measurement tools to ensure quality control and adherence to blueprint specifications.
• Handle materials safely within the warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Fabricate components by cutting, sanding, polishing, and assembling composite materials according to project requirements.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, ensuring all parts are correctly fitted and finished according to design standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures for precise fabrication work.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math for accurate measurements and assembly.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to manufacturing environments involving power tools and pneumatic equipment.
