What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer - Retail Sales position at Kitchen and Bath Creations, LLC?
- Job Summary - Design, estimate and sell New Construction and Remodeling Projects. Provide oversight and training as needed for fellow sales teammates as determined by KBC leadership. To include but not limited to customer qualification, administrative review, and processing of sales orders. Assume a lead role within the sales group on showroom design, upkeep and point of sales materials (samples & literature)
Responsibilities
- Sole sales responsibility for new and assigned accounts.
- Provide final plans and attend pre-construction appointments with tradespeople.
- Assist with coverage and corrective actions on existing accounts as determined by KBC leadership.
- Identify and develop retail/remodeling opportunities in conjunction with KBC's retail sales team.
- Monitor and follow up on on-line leads with KBC's retail sales team.
- Create an open-door policy for your sales teammates with a focus on mentoring and training.
- Design strategies - efficiency in design and quotation, standardized quote presentation, maximizing gross profits.
- Order processing - to ensure acknowledgements are being handled efficiently and thoroughly.
- Product training - including new introductions and updates on discontinued product and their replacements.
- Customer presentations - provide final plans and attend pre-construction appointments with tradespeople.
- Improve communications between retail sales and customer service.
- Assist in making sure KBC Policies and Procedures are being followed.
- Communication with clients, subcontractors, co-workers, as appropriate, demonstrating exceptional customer service.
- Ensure showrooms are being cleaned and kept up to date by showroom staff.
- Ensure Manufacturers Representatives are doing their due diligence for each showroom location.
- Ensure literature and samples are up to date.
- Assist in coordination of design for showroom vignettes at all locations.
- Assist in resolution of problem kitchens with layout/design or factor issues as directed by KBC leadership.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams from sales, IT, operations and marketing.
- Develop and extensive knowledge of KBC's product offering and present potential for enhancements to the leadership team.
- Assist in coverage at unassigned locations as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
