Line Cook – Fast-Paced Daily Line Service Catering Production
Kitchen 1437 is a busy, independent kitchen focused on corporate catering and daily service. We are hiring an experienced Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced line environment, communicates clearly, and is willing to operate across the full kitchen workflow.
This role is line-forward, with involvement in catering prep and production as part of our daily operation.
What You’ll Do

Execute tickets accurately during service (mods, temps, timing)

Work the line in coordination with the team

Support catering prep and production (portioning, assembly, packaging)

Learn and operate both hot and cold stations

Maintain clean-as-you-go standards and organized stations

Contribute to kitchen upkeep during downtime (small team, all-hands environment)
What We’re Looking For

4 years professional kitchen experience
-
Strong fast-paced line experience
-
Willingness to be cross-trained across hot and cold stations
-
Detail-oriented with temperatures and modifications
-
Strong working English required for service communication and catering coordination (Spanish a plus)

Reliable, accountable, and calm under pressure

Comfortable working within established systems in a growing independent operation
This role is ideal for someone ready to step into a smaller operation where their skill, communication, and work ethic truly matter.
We also welcome applications from strong teammates who currently work well together and are interested in transitioning as a pair.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday. Typical start around 9:00am, with some days beginning as early as 7:30am depending on catering volume.
Every other Saturday required (scheduled in advance).
Compensation
$20–$24 per hour (DOE) tips
Immediate start available.
