What You'll Do
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs in state court
- Conduct legal research and prepare opinion letters and case assessments
- Manage discovery, including written discovery and depositions
- Appear at hearings, status conferences, and (with mentorship) mediations and trials
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Collaborate with partners on case strategy and client development
