We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of our Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai location in Glenview, Illinois! As we prepare to open our doors, we are looking for enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals who are excited to be part of launching a new restaurant and helping us create an exceptional guest experience from day one.

Our location in Glenview, IL is looking to hire:

[KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER - part time, all shifts]

• High Tips!!
• Free shift meal provided.
• Base Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour ( Tips)

Work Description:

• Prepare and cook food items in accordance with recipes and standards
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ensure that food items are prepared in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor inventory levels and add supplies to cooking area as needed
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all food items are prepared to customer specifications when special request come up
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assist with other kitchen duties as needed

Requirements:

• Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Japanese language skills a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• BOH experience a plus
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, as well as kneel, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs

"Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai" is an authentic Japanese Ramen restaurant from Japan. We have been in business for more than 30 years and operate 70 restaurants in Japan and the USA.

Our expansion into the US began in 2014 when we opened our first location in Costa Mesa, CA. Since our opening, we have received great feedback and support from many customers and have been fortunate to open several more locations with more planned soon. As we continue our expansion, we need enthusiastic people with good energy who genuinely enjoying making people smile!!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
