We’re looking for an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. If you are a self-starter with 3 years of experience in low-voltage installation—and you're ready to take the next step in your career—we want to talk with you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling systems, including Category 5e, Category 6, Category 6A, fiber optic, coaxial, and associated infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and test low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, wireless access points, security cameras, access control, audiovisual, paging, and other communications systems as assigned.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship while ensuring installations are neat, organized, and completed according to company quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics to complete installations in accordance with project specifications.
• Complete assigned work safely, professionally, and in accordance with company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable industry codes.
• Work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of productivity and workmanship.
• Identify field issues, installation conflicts, or changes in scope, and promptly communicate them to the Lead Technician or Project Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while properly caring for company vehicles, tools, equipment, and materials.
• Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and customer site-specific safety requirements.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades while representing the company in a positive manner.
• Assist with training and mentoring less experienced technicians as needed.
• Complete required documentation, including daily work reports, material usage, test results, and as-built information.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in low-voltage systems.
• Experience with and knowledge of:
• Structured Cabling (Copper/Fiber)
• Wi-Fi Systems
• Video Security Systems
• Door Access Control Systems
• Phone Systems
• Overhead Paging
• Knowledge of fiber optic splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and OSP placement.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work at heights and operate a scissor lift.
• Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting and carrying 50 pounds, bending, stooping, pulling, and climbing ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP address assignments).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional experience with Door Access Control Systems is a plus.
• Certifications such as BICSI, FOA, or equivalent are a plus, but not required.
• Experience with project scheduling.
• Knowledge of networking systems.
• Experience with Fluke cable certification and fiber testing equipment.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience operating scissor lifts and boom lifts.
• Manufacturer certifications (Axis, Aruba, Juniper Mist, Ubiquiti, Verkada,Hanwha, etc.) are a plus.

Work Requirements:

• Typical work locations will be along the Wasatch Front but can include other sites throughout Utah.
• Typical work hours are Monday through Friday; however, occasional evening, weekend, or overnight work may be required to meet customer or project requirements.
• Understanding of networking (IP address assignments at a minimum).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and safely use ladders, lifts, and other equipment required for commercial installations.
