Sales Associate/Merchandiser - Magnolia Estate Sales

Job Overview:

Magnolia Estate Sales is seeking a Sales Associate/Merchandiser to join our exceptional team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for organization, research, efficiency, interior design, creativity, and customer service. Training is provided, so experience is not necessary, but it is certainly helpful.

Magnolia generally hosts 1-2 estate sales a month, offering approximately 10-80 hours per month for our contractors. This position will include weekday and weekend hours and is perfect for someone with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to aiding in the setup/staging of estate sale events. The ability to merchandise & stage the contents of the home to ensure that sale items are visually appealing and easy to shop. Research unique/collectible items. Price, photograph, and write descriptions of each item. Assist with sales at the estate sale event, provide strong customer service, re-merchandise items at sale events, assist, or serve as a cashier, and assist with the breakdown of the estate sale event.

Qualifications

The ideal appicant should have a passion for design and visual displays. A self-starter with the ability to work in a team setting and independently. We are seeking candidates with pleasing personalities, a positive 'can-do' attitude, and the ability to be flexible. A general knowledge of art, antiques, collectibles, and decor is helpful. Strong customer service skills are required to assist at estate sale events.

Magnolia Estate Sales serves the Triangle Area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill). Reliable transportation is a requirement for this position.
