We are seeking a Rebar Processor. The successful candidates will be self-motivated individuals with positive attitudes that can work independently as well as within a group setting to accomplish production goals while being organized and detail oriented.
Work Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm ( OT as needed).
Your responsibilities will include:
· Perform Rebar Cutting, Bending, and Setup: Cut and bend rebar/mesh to proper dimensions, layout rebar/mesh, manually and/or using tie guns tie rebar mats and cages to Engineering drawing requirements.
· Standards Compliance: Follow industry and company standards to produce quality products using shop drawings (ability to read drawings and instructions is a plus).
· Equipment: Possess the ability to safely and properly operate basic hand and power tools.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
· Age Requirement: 18-years or older
· Skills: Proficient in reading and using a tape measure, math skills, reliable and punctual with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a positive attitude.
· Experience: Preferred candidates will have either a manufacturing or construction background or equivalent experience, along with skills in blueprint reading and professional communications in a team setting.
· Location: Must be local to or willing to commute to the Lockport, NY area (no relocation package available)
