This role requires industrial or plant maintenance experience working with pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems. Along with basic PLC- controlled machinery troubleshooting. And an automotive-only experience is not sufficient. The position supports Buildings and grounds, and manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides leadership to drive continuous improvements in product quality. Understand the importance of product safety, legality, and quality – Inform the Quality Supervisor and/or any other key stakeholders of any issue.
- Responsible for proper installations, adjustments, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components of mobile and stationary equipment.
- Report any damage to machines or equipment or spoilage to the immediate supervisor.
- Fill out inspection sheets, timecards, work orders, and other reports properly.
- Properly issues out and restocks components from the storeroom areas.
- Must be able to read and utilize hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics associated with equipment.
- All work is to be performed in accordance with standards set by the Company Policy and regulatory agencies.
- Work in a safe manner following established safe procedures.
- Recommend supplies, tools, spare parts, and equipment to the maintenance planner for repairs and equipment rebuilds.
- Maintain the work area clear of hazards and in compliance with housekeeping, safety, and environmental standards.
- Performs other related work as assigned.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must have experience repairing automated packaging and conveying equipment.
- Ability to read prints and drawings.
- Must be proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Must be proficient in diagnosing machine malfunctions, adjusting, disassembling mechanical sub-assemblies, replacing broken or worn parts, and reassembling mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- Ability to work ethically.
- Knowledge of general industrial maintenance.
- Ability to work without close supervision.
- Positive Attitude.
- Ability to learn basic SAP transactions such as printing a Work Order, Time Reporting
- Trade School or Community College in general, or industrial maintenance, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
- Work must be done around moving machinery and equipment, as well as around energized power cables.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods while repairing the machine.
- Must be capable of lifting 50lb
- Must be able to ascend and descend a ladder of at least thirty (30) feet in length.
