We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Foreman, Landscape Hardscape, to lead and oversee the installation and construction of durable, aesthetically pleasing hardscape features in outdoor environments. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all phases of landscape hardscape projects, including concrete forming, masonry, tile laying, and fabrication.
- Lead a team of skilled laborers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Oversee the operation of heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently on-site.
- Conduct construction inspections to verify adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and building codes.
- Manage construction estimating processes for materials, labor, and equipment needs; assist with procurement as necessary.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations; enforce proper use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other equipment.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to communicate progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform detailed construction site inspections; identify potential hazards or delays early to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, incident reports, and project updates using tools like Bluebeam or similar software.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape hardscape construction or related fields such as masonry, concrete finishing, or restoration projects.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles.
- Hands-on expertise with a variety of tools including hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication equipment.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and project scheduling practices.
- Experience in construction inspection ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems related to outdoor features is a plus.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards; previous supervisory experience preferred.
