Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Utility Operations
- Manage and maintain facility utility systems, including:
- HVAC systems
- Purified Water (PW) systems
- Compressed air systems
- Chillers and cooling towers
- Boilers and steam generation systems
- Electrical distribution systems
- Monitor facility performance and utility consumption.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate corrective and emergency maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement root cause corrective actions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance records.
- Ensure facility systems comply with cosmetic GMP requirements.
- Support equipment qualification activities:
- IQ (Installation Qualification)
- OQ (Operational Qualification)
- PQ (Performance Qualification)
- Maintain facility-related SOPs and documentation.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Support facility expansion and new equipment installation projects.
- Participate in facility design reviews and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate contractors and vendors.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Conduct facility risk assessments.
- Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
- Drive facility reliability and operational efficiency improvements.
- Analyze utility usage trends and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Implement Lean, TPM, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Related Engineering Discipline
- Professional Engineer certification
- Relevant facility management certifications
Required
- 3-7 years of experience in Manufacturing facilities engineering, Utility system maintenance or Industrial plant operations
- Experience in Cosmetics manufacturing, Pharmaceutical manufacturing, Food manufacturing and/or GMP-regulated environments
