Job Description
Essential Functions
- Create, review, and approve Material Master and Bill of Materials (BOM) changes in SAP/ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Material Master data, supporting business users with technical guidance, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis.
- Manage the full material lifecycle (creation, extension, change, inactivation), ensuring alignment with business rules and audit requirements.
- Monitor and improve data quality through KPIs, validation rules, and periodic audits, proactively identifying risks and corrective actions.
- Lead and support master data governance activities, including documentation, standardization, and process enhancement initiatives
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort, eliminate data issues, and improve system efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in Material Master Data Management, SAP MM, or equivalent ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, material lifecycle management, and data governance concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly detail‑oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into system logic and data rules
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, data validation, basic analysis).
- Experience working in cross‑functional and fast‑paced environments. – Preferred.
- SAP ECC or S/4HANA Material Management (MM) experience – Preferred
- Experience supporting system projects, data migration, or MDM initiatives – Preferred.
