Position Overview As our Event Production Manager, you’ll take the lead once a client signs on, working in close coordination with our Designers and Sales team. You’ll oversee the full scope of event execution—from pulling inventory to managing contractors and setup teams—all while keeping the client’s vision and Kismet’s standard of excellence front and center. You’ll lead a team of 3–12 people and ensure every detail is accounted for. This Role Is Ideal For Someone Who:Has hands-on experience managing wedding and social event installationsKnows how to communicate with designers, florists, contractors, setup and breakdown teamsCan walk into a venue and instantly understand logistics and load-in strategyThrives on structure, detail, and elevating the guest experienceExcellent communication skills, work under pressure and problem solve on the spotPosition Details Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM, with required weekend availability (most events are on weekends)Key Responsibilities Lead the production and execution of weddings and special eventsManage and schedule event and warehouse teamsCommunicate closely with Designers to ensure their vision is executed as plannedEnsure event inventory is packed, organized, and in pristine conditionOversee floral installation, rentals, load-in/load-out logistics, and setupStay ahead of trends and contribute to sourcing/purchasing décor and event furnishingsSchedule team Enforce safety and quality control on-site Support the overall success and operational excellence of the companyRequirements Minimum 3 years in wedding or event production—must be able to hit the ground runningPrior experience managing a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of event design, setup, logistics, and vendor coordinationBilingual in English/Spanish is a strong plusComfortable lifting 50 lbs and doing physically demanding work during installsClean driving record reliable transportationExperience with box truck loading/unloading preferredMust be dependable, detail-oriented, and solutions-focusedWho You’ll Work With You’ll report directly to the Owner and Head Designer and collaborate with our in-house team office team, sales team and Warehouse Leads.
