Kish Bank is hiring an experienced branch leader for our North Atherton location. As the transaction lead and operational expert within the branch, the Head Teller ensures high-quality execution of all teller transactions while supporting operational accuracy, compliance, and team coordination. This role serves as a key resource for the teller team—providing guidance, maintaining strong operational oversight, and helping ensure a consistent, secure, and efficient customer experience.
The Head Teller also plays an important role in branch operations through transactional audits, reporting responsibilities, and daily cash management oversight. What You’ll Do
Operational Excellence & Risk Awareness
Support accurate, compliant transaction processing across the teller team
Maintain strong working knowledge of teller operations and regulatory expectations
Ensure adherence to policies including Clean Desk, All Clear, Privacy, BSA, and CIP
Understand and appropriately administer overrides and signing authority within established guidelines
Transaction Oversight & Reporting
Monitor and manage over/short activity
Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports prior to imaging
Assist with transactional audits and documentation review
Support strong internal controls and branch readiness
Cash Management
Maintain balances within limits for:
Cash drawer
Vault
ATM
TCR
Coin machine
Review Branch Cash Limit and Cash Advance Reports daily
Team Support & Communication
Serve as a trusted operational resource for teller staff
Foster clear two-way communication across the branch team
Help reinforce consistency, accountability, and service excellence at the transaction line
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of banking experience or demonstrated proficiency in teller operations
Strong attention to detail and computational accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Professional, service-focused approach with customers and teammates
Strong computer aptitude and comfort working within banking systems
Preferred Strengths
Confidence supporting transactional decision-making
Ability to balance accuracy, efficiency, and customer experience
Natural ownership mindset and operational awareness
Physical Requirements
This position is primarily office-based with moderate standing, walking, reaching, bending, and stooping. The role occasionally requires lifting 10–20 pounds, with lighter lifting more regularly.
