What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver (Senior Living) position at Kisco Senior Living?
The Driver at La Posada is r esponsible for helping to implement the community’s philosophy of well-being through daily interaction with residents and providing transportation to community programs, events and resident appointments as required. Provide exemplary customer service that encourages independence and fosters a secure and friendly environment.
Schedule: Full-time with varying shifts. Available schedules include Monday-Friday 9:30 AM-5:30 PM and 12:00 PM-8:00 PM. Must be available to work weekends as needed.
Pay Range: $17.00/hr - $19.00/hr
Paid Vacation / Sick Time / 7 Paid Holidays

- Clean / Valid Florida license required*
What will I do every day?
- Drive vehicles to community events, shopping excursions, etc.
- Assist with scheduling transportation as required
- Promote resident attendance and participation in all Wellness Programs and community activities
- Monitor general maintenance and overall safety of vehicles
- Assist in setting up/tearing down Community events as needed. What will I need to be successful in this role?
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience as a driver (preferably with seniors)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving record
- Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within reasonable time of employment (as required)
- First Aid Certification or willing to obtain one
