Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Assist customers with product inquiries, offering knowledgeable recommendations and upselling when appropriate
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales
• Maintain accurate cash drawer handling and perform retail math to ensure balanced registers at shift end
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and support merchandising efforts to keep the store visually appealing
• Use strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth store operations
• Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support inventory management by stocking new products and conducting stock counts as needed

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members and managing daily tasks
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math will help you excel in this role
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service abilities, are vital for success
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising principles will support your ability to assist customers confidently
• Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
