Legal Assistant (International)

Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced legal assistant to work in our International Section. The ideal candidate will have a positive "can-do" attitude to meet the needs of high-level clients and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Format and construct various pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Manage correspondence between attorney and clients.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
• Oversight of individual client preferences, client accounts, and requests.
• Maintain attorney calendar.
• Provide proactive and advanced legal support; and
• Other tasks as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to meet required deadlines, multi-task, prioritize, organize, and work calmly under pressure.
• High attention to detail, be proactive, and self-motivated.
• Ability to both follow instructions, and to think and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Experience with AI and being technologically savvy is a plus.
• Mandarin speaking preferred, but not required;
• Two years of experience in a law firm preferred; and
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
