The maintenance technician assists with all aspects of Three Fountains Ft. Wayne maintenance. This includes the physical physical grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, deferred and emergency, and general maintenance.
Technical Skills
- Equipment Maintenance -Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed or as instructed by the maintenance supervisor
- Equipment Selection -Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Installation -Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
- Operation Monitoring -Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Repairing -Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
- Troubleshooting -Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.

- Job Responsibilities
- Assist in minor interior and exterior building maintenance including caulking, painting, drywall patching and repairs
- Minor plumbing/electric work in common areas
- HVAC experience
- Assist with snow removal/clearing sidewalks
- General grounds cleanup and maintenance including trash and recycling upkeep
- Assist in common area maintenance
- Provide on call coverage Required
- Occasional evening, weekend or holiday hours for emergency building maintenance calls
- Advise supervisor on overall condition of property
- Perform scheduled property maintenance
- Monitor appearance and upkeep of property on a continual basis. As appropriate, remove litter and debris from lawns, planting beds, parking areas, sidewalks, ramps and indoor spaces
- Experience in appliance repair
