Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Conduct detailed floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Carry out custodial duties like restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including light repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep
- Support industrial cleaning projects by using specialized cleaning tools and techniques for large-scale or high-traffic areas
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Prior experience in industrial or facilities maintenance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
