- Safely operate box trucks to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload shipments using manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns
- Assist in warehouse organization by moving inventory and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Complete delivery documentation accurately, including delivery receipts, and incident reports when necessary
- Support the warehouse team with general duties such as inventory management and equipment maintenance
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform physical tasks involving moving and manual lifting
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols in warehouse settings
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous
- A proactive attitude with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
