Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing information and directing calls as needed.
- Handle patient inquiries, requests, and complaints with enthusiasm and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Maintain accurate appointment records, update patient profiles, and coordinate room assignments seamlessly.
- Collect any insurance cards from patients and ensuring verification before their first appointment.
- Support night audit processes by reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring financial accuracy overnight.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and customer service to enhance overall patient satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in medical office management or medical office roles preferred but not required.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills highly desirable to assist diverse patient populations.
- Proven customer service experience in a front desk or customer service setting.
- Familiarity with medical office management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines, human anatomy, and customer service experience will set you apart.
- Strong communication skills combined with a positive attitude are essential for success in this energetic role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
