What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Worker/Carpenter position at Kirk's Remodeling and Custom Homes?
Kirk's Remodeling and Custom Homes is very busy remodeling Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, screened in porches and room additions. We do it All! We are looking for an experienced construction work who is well rounded and experienced in trim carpentry, framing, sheetrock, mudding, finish work, electrical and plumbing background. This candidate will be working on the job site doing tasks like, framing, sheet rocking, tape, mud and sand walls, painting, trim carpentry, hanging interior and exterior doors and windows, light electrical and plumbing. Looking for someone with real trim carpentry experience, and able to finish the job to our high standards.
Daily tasks will include but is not limited to:
-Framing
-Trim carpentry, installing base trim, crown, base shoe, hanging interior and exterior doors.
-Plumbing: able to disconnect plumbing, install faucets and drains and general knowledge.
-Electrical, hooking up outlets, switches, running wire.
-Sheetrock, tape, mud and sand.
-Painting walls and trim.
-Hooking up appliances like garbage disposal, dishwasher, refrigerators, ovens, washing machines, dryers, sinks and faucets.
-Finishes touching up paint, installing door hardware.
Looking for a leader who when given a task can make sure that it is done and held to company standards of quality. Past construction experience required, pay is based off experience. Must have a Valid Drivers License.
