Job Overview
We are seeking motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various systems such as powertrain, electrical, and suspension.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles including engine repairs, transmission servicing, diesel engine repairs, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical components effectively.
- Service vehicles by replacing parts with hand tools and power tools, ensuring quality workmanship in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Calibrate ADAS features such as lane departure warnings and collision avoidance systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Execute wheel alignments, brake repairs, welding tasks, and other mechanical repairs to maintain vehicle safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle maintenance or auto estimating.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with automotive repair procedures involving transmissions, powertrain components, diesel engines, and welding techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive service software effectively.
- Experience working with ADAS calibration tools and performing vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments and electrical system repairs.
