Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with experience in various types of driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Navigate assigned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
• Experience in truck driving with a focus on delivery driver roles preferred.
• Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks is a plus.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
