Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Class A Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with experience in various types of driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, safely and efficiently.
- Navigate assigned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A for a min. of 2 years.
- Experience in truck driving with a focus on delivery driver roles preferred..
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
