What You’ll Do as a Customer Engagement Specialist
In this role, you’ll be creating quotes, negotiating pricing, and scheduling orders to help drive profitability.
You’ll:
- Determines pricing for quotations
- Collaborates with purchasing to provide information for bidding raw components
- Communicates with production, purchasing, and shipping to ensure on time delivery to customers
- Maintains working relationship with internal and external customers to ensure customer service excellence
- Reviewing and resolving customer concerns, quality issues, and payment discrepancies involving the appropriate parties when necessary
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- College level coursework or 2 years relevant work experience
- Entrepreneurial approach to balance winning new orders while improving profit margin
- Strong math skills to accurately manage product cost data
- Strong interpersonal, customer contact skills, and telephone etiquette
- Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office required, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and adapt to varied work environments
- Travel to customer sites as needed
- Perform in a fast-paced manufacturing business environment
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm
