Tow Truck Operator/Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled tow truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing vehicles, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills to effectively manage various situations that may arise while on duty.

Duties

• Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles to designated locations.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure optimal performance.
• Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs promptly.
• Utilize automotive repair and diagnostics skills to assess vehicle conditions when needed.
• Manage conflicts professionally, ensuring a positive experience for customers in stressful situations.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during towing operations.
• Collaborate with dispatchers to receive assignments and report any issues encountered on the road.

Experience

• Proven experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and diagnostics is essential.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
• Excellent driving record with a valid driver's license is required.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Previous customer service experience is highly desirable, showcasing the ability to interact positively with clients.
