What You Will Do As a Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and maintaining inventory accuracy while helping ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and safely.
Warehouse Responsibilities
You Will
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately enter receiving information into the warehouse management system.
- Communicate shortages, overages, or damaged materials to management.
- Process returns and assist with freight claims as needed.
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts according to company procedures.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for customer orders and branch transfers.
- Move materials to designated warehouse locations using established processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with continuous improvement efforts that support operational efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders up to 15 feet.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Monday–Friday schedule during standard business hours
- Collaborative team environment with opportunities to learn and grow
