What You’ll Do As a Sales Representative
In this key role, you’ll help power our customers’ success while executing effective sales strategies and ensuring an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.
You’ll
- Support the sales budget process and consistently achieve sales goals
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to grow market share
- Participate in joint sales calls with targeted customers
- Prepare customer quotes and manage opportunities in the CRM system
- Process customer orders and requests for products and services
- Monitor back orders and ensure on-time delivery
- Identify opportunities to train customers on product applications
- Collaborate with internal departments to meet and exceed customer expectations
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
- Proven sales experience—business-to-business experience preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the electrical distribution industry
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry up to 50 lbs.
- Monday–Friday (Typical Business Hours)
- 50% of your time will be spent in the office/on the computer
- Flexibility to participate in customer/vendor events
- Some travel required 10-20%
