Experienced OTR Driver Wanted for a Small Carrier That Knows Your Name
Kirby Carriers is launching its own authority out of Little Rock, and we’re looking for an experienced OTR driver who wants to work somewhere they’ll be known, heard, and supported.
We’re not new to trucking. Our management team currently operates more than 70 tractors leased to a major carrier and runs its own heavy-duty truck shop. We know the business, we know equipment, and we know what good drivers need. Now we’re running freight under our own authority, and we’re building it around the kind of personal attention you just can’t get at a large carrier.
Here, you’ll work directly with the people who make decisions. When you call in, you’ll talk to someone who knows you, your truck, and your preferences. If something needs fixing, whether it’s on the truck or in how we do things, you’ll have a real voice and a quick answer. We’re looking for a seasoned professional who takes pride in the job, runs safe, and treats the equipment like it’s their own, and we’ll treat you with the same respect.
The Run
- OTR dry van freight
- Out during the week, home every weekend for your 34-hour reset
- Based out of Little Rock, AR
The Equipment
- 2021 International LT625 with a 15-liter engine
- Equipped with an APU for comfort on your downtime
- Maintained by our own in-house heavy-duty shop, so repairs and PMs get handled by people who answer to us, not a third party
Pay
- 65 cents per mile
- Detention pay of $25/hour after the first 2 hours

What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 years of verifiable OTR experience
- Clean safety record
- Consistent, thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspection habits
- A professional who communicates well and takes ownership of the job
- Current DOT medical card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
