Scope of Work:
This position serves for planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities while ensuring technicians are properly resourced with materials, tools, and clear work assignments. This role manages work execution and material coordination to support efficient operations, schedule compliance, and overall maintenance performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate technician workloads to ensure balanced distribution and optimal productivity.
- Prioritize and sequence work orders based on urgency, asset criticality, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans in real time to address emergent work and operational constraints.
- Utilize IBM Maximo or CMMS System to create, update, and manage work orders, job plans, and schedules.
- Ensure all work orders are fully planned with required labor, materials, tools, and instructions prior to execution.
- Track work order progress from planning through completion, maintaining accurate system data and reporting.
- Forecast, coordinate, and stage materials, parts, and tools to support scheduled maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and vendors to expedite materials and maintain inventory readiness.
- Communicate and coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and stakeholders while tracking KPIs, resolving conflicts, and driving continuous improvement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Three (3) years related to maintenance planning, scheduling, or operations support.
- Three (3) year work experience with MAXIMO preferred.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control procedures, and property accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and inventory management systems. Experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
- Hold and maintain Top Secret / SCI government security clearance.
- Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
- Frequent use of hands for typing, data entry, and handling paperwork.
- Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching forlong periodsof time.
- Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards withappropriate PPE.
- Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
