Duties

• - Perform intricate braiding techniques, including box braids, stitch braids, twists, and various styles at an advanced level.
• - Maintain a clean and professional workspace to ensure an optimal client experience.
• - Deliver exceptional customer service to all salon clients.
• - Adhere to salon systems, policies, and procedures to uphold operational efficiency.l
• - Conduct expert consultations on hair care and tailored options to meet individual client needs.
• - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations and best practices.
• - Utilize salon software systems, such as Acuity, for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking.
• - Ensure reliable transportation for commuting to and from the salon.
• - Demonstrate professionalism and a positive demeanor with every client interaction.
• Requirements
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and braiding techniques
• Proficiency in hair extensions application and maintenance methods
• Knowledge of salon software platforms such as Acuity for efficient appointment management
• Strong understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
• Experience with retail sales strategies including upselling and retail math calculations
• Ability to mentor junior staff or apprentices while fostering a positive team atmosphere
• Familiarity with store management principles to contribute to overall salon operations
