Job Summary:
KIPP Atlanta Schools seeks an experienced Registrar whose duties include the management and maintenance of student information and records at assigned K-8 or 9-12 KIPP campuses, serving from 450 – 900 scholars. These records include but are not limited to, attendance records, immunization records, grades, and transfer information. The Registrar will maintain excellent stakeholder relationships and closely collaborate with the Director of Operations and Director of Student Information for efficient daily school operations.school operations.
Job Responsibilities:

Student Information Management & Compliance |
50% |
- Supports the data entry of student information such as behavior, grade posting and schedule change requests
- Prepares and issues progress reports and final report cards
- Ensures transcripts are accurately updated in the student information system
- Manages cycle of permanent records in accordance with district requirements
- Manages school attendance processes and maintains attendance records in accordance with regional requirements
- Prepares customized reports for internal school needs and assists in schools’ accountability and audit processes
- Ensures data systems are accurate and up-to-date by regular review of data verification reports
- Serve as the liaison between the school and Regional Support Team for all student information-related matters
- Maintains confidentiality per FERPA
- Respond to all stakeholder inquiries as required
- Attends all regional, state, and district meetings and training as required

Student Enrollment and Registration |

- Manages school-based student enrollment, withdrawals and registration processes
- Manages student information system platforms to include Infinite Campus and SchoolMint
- Ensures data integrity of all student enrollment and student profile changes in support of data-driven decisions and actions

School Operations |

- Provides support to ensure the health, safety, and security of scholars by executing assigned health, safety, and compliance duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned by school leaders
Candidate Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Proven experience managing projects and data
- Experience with developing and maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a leader and as part of a team
- Ability to manage the ambiguity and multiple priorities inherent in an entrepreneurial environment

Compensation
Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience. A competitive benefits package will also be offered.
Location & Work Conditions:
This position requires routine physical activity associated with normal office environments and requires candidates to be based in Atlanta and regularly be in schools and able to attend in person meetings and events. Additional in person time may be necessary based upon organizational needs.
