General Overview
The medication drop services (MDS) staff are responsible for the in-home drop of medications and observing the client self-administer their medication. MDS staff are responsible for assessing any visible, or client reported, changes in mood, behavior, speech, communication, or appearance and reporting these changes. The MDS staff must report any issues or concerns related to the client's health/or safety, including concerns regarding their medications.
Qualifications Include
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have Highschool diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation and good driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have good judgement and follow procedures accordingly
- Need to be comfortable entering client's homes and spending 15 minutes with them on the premise
- Comfortable driving for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work independently and complete assigned task by the given due date
- Must have adequate typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft word
- Have excellent time management and organizational skills
-Must be competent or willing to become competent with the following:
- Reporting Requirements
- First Aid/CPR
- Recipient Rights
- Prevention and containment of communicable diseases

Masks are mandatory while with client's. Hand sanitizer is offered in office, Latex-free gloves are offered but not required. Mask are provided, having your own personal mask is recommended.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Mental Health: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Michigan Driver's License (Required)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
