Job Overview
As Affiliate Manager at Kion, your primary metrics will be new customer acquisition, active number of affiliates, and average new customers per affiliate. The key functions of this role are existing affiliate program management, expanding affiliate programs to new social channels, campaign development, creator quality & program health, strategic creator communication, and funneling affiliate creative to our paid ads team.
The organizational goals for this role are as follows:
- Own overall performance of affiliate programs across different social channels
- Grow affiliate programs YoY (Active number of creators, new customers)
- Design affiliate campaigns (goals, incentives, and creator eligibility requirements) & develop creator briefs and messaging frameworks
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of affiliate platforms
- Identify and propose new affiliate growth opportunities (platforms, formats, audiences)
- Set quality thresholds for new creators & analyze performance by creator cohorts

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who are:
- Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and self-directed, with strong judgment, and clear communication skills
- 4 years experience in affiliate program management (Aspire, GRIN, or similar platforms)
Skills and abilities of an ideal candidate:
- 6 years experience in affiliate program management within e-commerce
- 1 year(s) of management experience
- Experience managing structured business processes end-to-end
- Strong working knowledge of affiliate tracking platforms and attribution fundamentals
- Proven ability to recruit, onboard, and scale high-performing affiliate partners
- Deep understanding of performance marketing KPIs (ROAS, CAC, AOV, LTV, conversion rate, EPC, partner-level profitability)
- Experience developing commission structures, bonus tiers, and promotional strategies that drive incremental revenue
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills; able to drive performance while maintaining strong partner trust
- Ability to build scalable partner communication systems (newsletters, partner updates, promo calendars, onboarding flows)
