Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor
Wind Farm Projects | U.S. Midwest & Central Regions
Compensation: $40/hour Overtime

We are seeking experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Advisors to support wind farm projects across the U.S. Midwest and Central regions. This is a traveling, field-based role providing onsite EHS leadership, coaching, compliance oversight, and support for blade campaigns and large corrective maintenance activities.
The ideal candidate is safety-driven, experienced in wind energy operations, and comfortable working in high-performance field environments.
- Provide onsite EHS support across multiple wind farm locations
- Conduct daily EHS activities including:
- Safety observations
- Site inspections
- Audits
- Documentation and reporting
- Deliver toolbox talks, EHS briefings, and up-tower safety coaching
- Lead or support incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Partner with site operations teams to strengthen proactive safety culture
- Ensure compliance with company EHS protocols, OSHA regulations, and industry standards
- Minimum 3 years of EHS experience, preferably in wind energy
- Valid GWO Certification (required)
- Ability to climb wind turbines and work at heights
- Strong understanding of:
- OSHA regulations
- Wind farm operations
- EHS best practices
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel extensively
- Strong communication, coaching, and documentation skills
- SGRE Training Level: Green – EHS Advisor Profile
- NSC Defensive Driving Certification
